How we handle information for the Humpty Dumpty early-access list.
Last updated: October 8, 2026. For questions or data requests, contact info@humptydumpty.me.
What we collect and why
We collect your email address, selected interest, optional first name, and optional willingness to test the beta. We also store registration time and the version of the consent statement you agreed to. We use this information for launch updates and possible early-testing invitations, based on your consent. Joining does not create an account, submit a job application, or guarantee beta access.
Storage and services
Registrations are held in a dedicated Hostinger database, separate from the customer app’s development database. Access is limited to authorized people handling the list. Hostinger provides website hosting, database storage and associated backups. See Hostinger’s privacy policy. The website does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Technical information and cookies
The registration endpoint uses a temporary session cookie to protect form submissions. It expires when the browser session ends. For abuse prevention, the endpoint stores a keyed hash derived from the request IP address and a time window, together with an attempt count; it does not store the raw IP address in the waitlist database. These short-lived rate-limit records expire within 30 minutes and are removed by subsequent requests or scheduled cleanup. Hostinger may separately process request logs and security information under its hosting policies.
Retention
We remove registrations older than 365 days using scheduled cleanup, or sooner when you withdraw. Hosting backups can retain previously stored records until the provider’s backup rotation expires. If data is restored from a backup, deletion requests must be reapplied. Any longer-term communication list would require a separate explanation and appropriate permission.
Your choices
You can withdraw consent, request access or correction, or ask us to delete your registration by emailing info@humptydumpty.me from the registered address. We may ask you to reply from that address to verify the request. Withdrawal stops future use of the registration; it does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, including Sweden’s IMY.
Email and transfers
The form does not send confirmation emails and has no email campaign service connected. If you contact us by email, the mailbox provider handles that correspondence separately. Hostinger’s server location, subprocessors, backup handling and any international transfer arrangements depend on the configured hosting account and its agreements.
